Dialogue One :Janice Goes to the New Grand Supermarket

J=Janice S=Salesman M=Meara

J:Excuse me, can you show me where ABC cereals are?

S:Sorry,but we are fresh out of(be fresh out of: 卖完了）that brand.

J:When? The meat section is cleaned out , too? What's going on here anyway?

S:Well, we are having restocking problems because of the holiday

J:Good excuse.how is your shopping going, Meara?

M:I'm bond. My favourite candy is sold out.

J:I'm not surprised. There aren't many cakes left ,either. let's get out of here. They don't have anything.

M:Not yet.I want to get some pastries(油酥点心) ,I'm a little hungry

J:You know, you have a one-track mind(死心眼儿)

M:What do you mean?

J:I saw you stuck your face just 20 minutes ago

M:Why don't you give us a rest ,Janice?

J:Sorry, Meara. But you told me you wanted to lose weight

M:Yeah, that's true.ok. Let's leave.

Dialogue Two : Masha and Lisa bump into (遇见某人）each other and chat.

M=Masha, L=Lisa

M:Well,well, look what the cad draged in (插入讨论)?

J:Hi,Masha, and how are you ,today?

M:I'm Ok. But I can't say the same about Cann

J:Oh? What's the story?

M:He was arrested for shoplifting at Nelsons

L:So they caught him with his pants down(他们当场抓住了他)?

M:Yeah, the shopowner caught him red-handed(当场抓住了他）

L:It serves him right? Then what happened ?

M:The cops came and read him his marauders ,then they took him in

L:He is your ex-boyfriend ,aren't you going to try to help?

M:Forget that noise .I won't do that for him,I dumped him(甩了他) because he was always getting into trouble.

J:You know ,Masha, I really got a kick out of (从……中得到乐趣）you sometimes。You do your own thing. I like that.

M:Em, that's good to hear. I guess.
