Todd: Hey, Kerri. Let's talk about summer.

Todd:嘿，Kerri,让我们来谈论一下夏天怎么样啊？

Kerri: OK.

Kerri:好的。

Todd: Do you like summer?

Todd:你喜欢夏天吗？

Kerri: Yes, I do.

Kerri:是的，我喜欢夏天。

Todd: OK. Why?

Todd:好，为什么呢？

Kerri: Because it's warm, and blue skies, and fluffy white clouds.

Kerri:因为夏天很暖和，你可以看到蓝天和毛绒状的白云。

Todd: That's true. Now, you grew up in Southern California. What was it like growing up on the beach in the summer?

Todd:确实是这样的。你在加州南部长大，那么在那里夏日的沙滩上长大感觉如何？

Kerri: It was great. It was a lot of fun. It's nice.

Kerri:非常棒！有很多乐趣，非常好。

Todd: Did you learn how to surf?

Todd:你学过冲浪吗？

Kerri: I tried a couple of times but I didn't want to learn in the summer time cause the beaches are too crowded so I tried in the winter but the water is very cold so I gave up after a couple of tries.

Kerri:我曾尝试过一段时间，但是我不想在夏天学习，因为夏天的沙滩上很拥挤，所以我尝试在冬天学习，但是冬天海水太冰冷，因此，在尝试过后，我放弃了学习。

Todd: Oh, really. Even in winter it's too cold, the water.

Kerri: Yeah, the Pacific's cold.

Kerri:是的，太平洋很寒冷。
