M: We are interested in placing a large order for your wool carpet.
M：我们对你们的羊毛地毯很感兴趣，想下一份大单。

W: How much would you like?

W：你们想定多少？

M: 10,000 sq.m. You should give us a discount for such a large quantity.

M：10,000平方米。这么大的单子，你应该给我们个折扣。

W: A higher discount will be given for a big order, so we are willing to give you a 5% discount this time.
W：我们对待大定单向来都有高额折扣，所以这次我们会给您5%的折扣。

M: The Iranians will give us a 10% discount if such a high order is placed with them. No doubt you know an incentive discount encourages the buyers and helps expand seller's business.

M：可伊朗人愿意给我们10%的折扣，如果我们给他们下这样一张大订单的话。你知道一项激励性的折扣会鼓励买主也会协助销售。

W: Of course I know. But there is too high a rate. Frankly speaking, the maximum discount we can make is 6%.

W：我当然知道，但是他们的比率太高了，说实话，我们能提供的最大折扣就是6%了。
