外国人会用Year end表示年底吗？年会的英语怎么说？今天的节目学点年底应景的。

01.The end of the year
英语中“年底”比较常用的正式说法：
The end of the year: 年底
注意两个the的发音不一样，在元音前读作/eɪ/，辅音前读作/eə/。
更口语的说法：
Year end: 年底
The party is usually held a few weeks after the year end. 那个派对经常在年底过后几个星期举办。

02.Reached the end of the year
如果想说“到年底了”可以用这些动词：
Reach: vt.到达，抵达
Reached the end of the year: 到年底了
Reach表示到达了某个地方，某种程度：
I've reached the destination. 我到达了目的地。
Finally, we've reached the end of the movie. 我们终于把电影看完了。
和reach含义类似的：
Arrived at: 到达
We've arrived at the end of the year. 已经到年底了。
另一个简单的动词词组 come to：
We've come to the end of the year. 已经到年底了。
因为是现在已经完成的状态（已经处于年底），所以用到了现在完成时。
这三个动词用法很形象地描述了“抵达年底”的概念，如果你想更 casual 一点，也可以直接用介词 at：
We are at the end of the year. （我们）到了一年的年底。
也可以换一个说法，用今年做主语：
The year is coming to an end. 今年就快结束了。

03.Year end bonus
说到年底，大家可能更喜欢的是年底的年会、奖金！
很多人会按照字面意思，把年会直译为“Annual meeting”“Annual party”但其实 Annual 表示“每年”的概念，可能是年初、年中、年末任意时间，而年会通常都在年底比较固定的时间举办，所以更准确的英文表达是：
End of the year party: 年会
更简短的说法：
End of year party
Year end party
年终奖可以说 End of the year bonus ，但相比之下国外的HR更喜欢用：
Year end bonus: 年终奖
或者在语境下更直接地用 bonus 来讨论。
拿到年终奖之后，就能开始买买买了：
Sale: 大减价
A lot of stores have an end of year sale. 很多商店都有年底大减价。

04.Inspirational quotes
除了物质上的奖励，年会上也少不了鼓舞人心的金句。

第一个金句来自前英国首相丘吉尔，鼓励大家不断拥抱变化，不断进步：

想提高就要改变，要达到完美则要不断改变。

去年的话属于去年的语言，明年的话在等待另一种全新的声音。
这句很有诗意的话翻译成接地气的 ins 体用语就是：
New year, new you. 新的一年，新的自己。
年底时经常从老板们的口中听到的 quotes：
Thanks for your hard work this past year. 感谢大家过去一年的努力。
This year was bright. Next year will be even brighter. 今年很不错，明年会更好。

05.End of the day
其实 end of the year 这个结构还可以替换成其它时间概念：
End of the day/week/month: 一天结束/一周结束/月底
怎么用：
I need this by the end of the day. 今晚之前交给我。
It can be stressful when your bills start piling up at the end of the month. 月底时各种账单堆积，让人压力很大。
