M:Lily，how long have you been here？

F:I came to China in June，and it has been 7 months.
F:我是六月份来中国的，现在算起来有七个月了。

M:Wow, that is a long time. And you must never have spent the Spring Festival in China.
M:哇，很久了。那你一定没有在中国度过春节了。

F:Yes，and I'm going to stay in China this year to  see how  Chinese  people spend their most important festival.
F:对啊，所以我打算今年留在中国，看看中国人是怎么度过他们最重要的节日的。

M:Really? Maybe you can come to celebrate it with my family.
M:真的吗?你可以和我们家一起过节。

F:Can I?
F:可以吗?

M:My parents would be happy to have you. I believe you will love it.  Though we live in downtown，we always spend Spring Festival in our hometown.
M:我父母一定会很高兴的。我相信你一定会喜欢的。虽然我们家住在市里，我们总是在老家过春节。

F:You mean in the countryside?
F:你是说在农村吗?

M:Yes，I believe you will know a lot about Chinese traditions this winter holiday. We will have a big family feast，eating things like fish，dumplings and new year cakes，giving children lucky money put in a red envelope，setting off firecrackers  and  staying  up  on  New Year's Eve， to name just a few.
M:对的，我相信你一定可以在这个寒假了解到许多中国的传统习俗。我们会吃团圆饭，吃鱼、饺子和年糕，给孩子压岁钱，也就是红包，放鞭炮，还有除夕夜守岁，诸如此类。

F:Wonderful!I can't wait to the coming of that day.
F:太棒了，我都快等不及了。
