[正] We all respect the experienced old（或 senior）teachers in our department.

翻译：我们都尊敬系里经验丰富的老教师。

讲解：aged 往往有“年迈力衰”的含意，用作原句的译文不恰当。我们可以说：We should take care of the sick 
and the aged.我们应当照顾病人和老人。I go home to see my aged parents at weekend. 周末我回家看望年迈的双亲。因为在两个例句中强调的是“年老体弱”。
