1. All ears 全神贯注，认真听

你有什么话尽管说——我洗耳恭听。

疯狂联想：想象一个人头小鼻小嘴小就是耳朵大，或者他浑身长满了耳朵，可不是指这人是个怪胎，而是说他竖起耳朵仔细倾听，生怕漏掉一个字。

2. All thumbs 笨手笨脚，笨拙

She was all thumbs but tried to knit a sweater.
她笨手笨脚的，却想织一件毛衣。

疯狂联想：一个人十个手指头全都是大拇指，自然拿不稳东西，干起活来也就笨手笨脚了。
