1. Bad news 讨厌鬼

Marcy is nothing but bad news around here.

释义：直译是坏消息，但也可指人，那种很令人讨厌的人。

2. Bail out 摆脱麻烦或危险（跳伞）

After his company failed, Bill's dad paid the loan off for him and bailed him out from bankruptcy.
比尔的公司倒闭后，他爸爸替他还清了欠款，把他从破产的边缘解散了出来。

释义：当飞行员在空中发现机器出故障时，他们就不得不跳伞，以保生命安全。这就是bail out。
