1. Steal one's thunder 抢风头

释义:
thunder:原意为雷声,雷声贯耳也可以指名气
steal one's thunder:直译是偷走了某人的雷声,引申为抢走了别人的名气、风头。
2. Step on one's toes 得罪某人
I have no idea when I stepped on my G.F.'s toes, for she hasn't talked to me for 6 days.
女朋友已经六天不和我说话了,我不知什么时候得罪了她。
