  The fifth is “Overpaid” actors. Last November Iran's Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry threatened a tax crackdown on actors, after it was found that Mohammad Reza Golzar, one of the country's most revered stars, was paid £55,000 for three days of work for playing an angel in a film. The internet lists number six. The Daily Telegraph said that in November 2008, Iran blocked access to more than five million internet sites.

  A list of ten “dislikes” by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran was made public. The first one is Paul the Octopus. During a speech at the weekend Mr. Ahmadinejad said the sea creature, Paul the Octopus, was a symbol of all that is wrong with the western world. Ties follows. The president never wears a tie in public, which has been regarded as a symbol of Western culture since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
