During a speech at the weekend Mr. Ahmadinejad said the sea creature, Paul the Octopus, was a symbol of all that is wrong with the western world. Ties follows. The president never wears a tie in public, which has been regarded as a symbol of Western culture since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
