There's still no end in sight to the bushfire crisis in New South Wales, with more than two-thousand firefighters in the field overnight, protecting homes from multiple blazes. Fire crews have been battling terrifying conditions, with flames flaring close to properties.

There are currently five significant fires — four north of Sydney and one on the south coast. Conditions are set to worsen again today.
US House Democrats have announced they will file impeachment charges against president Donald Trump for alleged abuse of power. It's the next step in the process to have the US House of Representatives formally vote on impeaching the president. Speaker Nancy Pelosi made the announcement just a day after politicians began considering charges. Mr Trump is accused of pressuring a foreign power, Ukraine, to investigate his political rival, Joe Biden, ahead of next year's presidential election.
"The president leaves us no choice but to act. Because he is trying to corrupt once again the election for his own benefit."
There are calls for a royal commission into gambling following claims a major online sports betting agency used secret algorithms and delaying tactics to stop punters from winning. A former employee of Bet365, has told the ABC, the company used misleading methods to restrict successful punters. He says it added delays into in-play betting, creating an unfair advantage. Bet365 denies the claim.
