President Barack Obama apologized to Argentina for the U.S being slow to speak out against human rights abuse during the country's 1976 military coup. Obama paid tribute to the victims of Argentina's "Dirty War" by visiting a memorial. The president's trip to Argentina comes during the 40th anniversary of the coup.

U.S officials uncovered a massive underground drug tunnel. It links a restaurant in Mexicali, Mexico to a home on the other side of bordering California. Along with seizure of the tunnel, authorities netted more than a ton of marijuana.
A navy tugboat has been found at bottom of a marine sanctuary near San Francisco. It sank nearly a century ago. Officials uncovered the tugboat in nearly 200-feet of water.
