The Obama administration has cleared the way for routine commercial use of small drones. The FAA created the new category of rules that will take effect in 60 days after years of struggling to make rules that would both protect public safety and free the benefits of new technology.
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that Republican rival Donald Trump would send the U.S. economy back into recession. Clinton made the comments in Ohio, warning Trump's reckless approach would hurt workers still trying to recover from the 2008 recession.

Firefighters are hoping a break in the intense heat wave will help in their battle against Southern California wildfires. They're trying to make gains with two adjacent fires in the San Gabriel Mountains 20 miles northeast of Los Angeles.
And an Oklahoma teen finds a 14-foot python in his yard. The 15-year-old said he thought he was dreaming, then ran to get his dad right away, who shot the python three times, killing it.
