The massive northern California wildfire is now the deadliest wildfire in California history. At least 42 people are known dead and thousands of homes and other structures have been destroyed.
The huge wildfire in southern California has burned more than 400 homes and other buildings. It's about 30% contained. But firefighters are struggling with hot, dry winds.
Israeli medical services say a rocket fired by Palestine militants in Gaza hit a building and killed a man. The Israeli military says militants in Gaza fired hundreds of rockets into Israel, while Israeli struck more than 100 militant targets in Gaza.
And Democrat Kyrsten Sinema has won Arizona's Senate seat after a slow count of mail-in ballot. She defeated Republican Martha McSally, and flipped the seat held by retiring Republican Jeff Flake.
