The White House told the military to hide the warship USS John S. Mccain, so President Trump wouldn't see it while in Japan. That's according to 3 US officials speaking anonymously to the AP. They say navy and air force officials were given specific instructions about the ship.

Multiple tornadoes hit northeast Texas, leaving damage both southwest and east of Dallas. Homes and buildings were damaged, trees were knocked down and at least one person was hurt.

A tourist boat collided with a larger cruise ship, capsized, and sank on the Danuer River in Hungary. More than 2 dozen people are dead or missing.

And Israel's Parliament dissolved itself and set new elections for September. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to win last month's election but couldn't form a ruling coalition government.
