During a media briefing, the new man, a wall street financier, said he was committed to getting the administration message out. He denied there had been intensions over his appointment.

Three Palestinians have been killed in clashes in east Jerusalem in continuing protests over Israel’s decision to install metal detectors at the holy sites in the city. All three are reported to have been shot but Israel army said it was only operating in one of the three streets where the death occurred.
