Hello, I'm David Harper with the BBC News.
A medical evacuation route is due to open in Yemen later on Monday for the first time in three years. A flight operated by the United Nations will carry critically ill patients out of the rebel-held capital Sana'a. A Saudi-led military coalition controls the airspace and has been blocking civilian flights. The UN's Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lise Grande welcomed the development.
It's taken two years of intensive discussions, asking the parties to agree on the modalities that we can bring people who cannot get treated in northern Yemen to places where they can get the help that they need in order to survive. Britain and the European Union are due to release details about how they plan to deal with the next stage of the Brexit process later today. Boris Johnson is expected to say that there is no need for a free trade agreement that involves the UK accepting a lot of rules from Brussels. It'll ask from the UK and return for a free trade deal. Adam Fleming has this report.
Known as the Mandate, this is the EU's detailed opening negotiating position for the next phase of talks with the UK. It'll provide clues about what areas the EU might prioritize and how it intends to proceed. It's also been an opportunity for the EU to spell out in more detail what kind of commitments to fair economic competition it will ask from the UK and return for generous free trade deal. Officials in Brussels were dismayed at the tone of briefings from the British government over the weekend which suggests the next phase of negotiations might be as rocky as the last.
