MTV电影奖提名 刘谦再掀魔术狂潮

北京时间5月5日消息，据国外媒体报道，一年一度的MTV各项娱乐大奖入围名单于今日公布。在电影类奖项方面，《暮光》和《歌舞青春3：毕业季》大放光彩，会同去年的奥斯卡最佳影片得主《贫民窟百万富翁》一起，成为了入围数量上的前三甲。

It's 'Twilight' that leads the nominations for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
The teen vampire thriller has seven nods in six categories, including Best Movie, Best Female Performance for Kirsten Stewart and Best Breakthrough Performance Male for actors Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

'Twilight' will go head-to-head on the night with 'Slumdog Millionaire', which is up for six accolades.

The 18th annual MTV Movie Awards will take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on May 31 and will be hosted American comedian Andy Samberg.

"Soul of Shaolin," an inaugural "China on Broadway" production, was nominated for the Tony Awards Tuesday.

It was listed in the category of Best Special Theatrical Event, along with "Liza's at The Palace," "Slava's Snowshow" and "You're Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush."

The production features 30 Chinese nationals who are highly skilled in Shaolin kung fu.

"Soul of Shaolin", staged at Broadway's Marquis Theatre this January, was earlier nominated for the 54th Annual Drama Desk Awards in the category of Unique Theatrical Experience.

Taiwan magician Liu Qian,, an overnight star on the mainland after he performed in the Spring Festival Eve TV Gala, is back and performing more tricks.

Liu has created two new magic shows for Nokia, involving mobile phones.

In a short video he shot for the mobile phone giant, Liu makes envelopes, pigeons and fish come out of the phones. The video has seen more than 1 million clicks in one week on Nokia's website.

The Finnish company is one of many chasing the 33-year-old magician, who has become a big hit among mainland's young magic lovers.

Liu will soon anchor a new show with CCTV called Magic Miracle.
