当事业看上去走投无路的时候,今天文章的主人公选择了卖热狗为生。 每周只工作五天,照样可以轻松赚取生活费,不再为衣食住行所困扰。

360行,行行出状元。看似不起眼的卖热狗,却也可以成就一个人。

Food like hot dogs I would consider as comfort food. And I would expect that's one of the reasons it's popular also in the terms of down economy people can eat more comfort foods. He calls  this the most basic form of capitalism, and it has its advantages, you can be your own boss, set your own hours, and it's an all cash busniess with very little overhead.

The average hot dog costs 25 cents. most vendors sell a hot dog for a dollar fifty. If you sold 100 hot dogs a day , working five days a week, you'd clear 32,500 dollars a year. Two hundred and fifty hot dogs a day, more than 80,000 dollars a year. Sounds like a gig some could really relish.
