微软发布测试版的IE9

It's Thursday, Sept.16th. 2010, I'm Jeff Barkla, and it's time to get loaded.

Microsoft has released a beta version of Internet Explorer 9 and early reviews are quite positive. The new browser now extensively supports web standards like HTML5, and CSS3, features a new minimalist user interface, and Microsoft claims that everthing is hardware accelerated. In a bit of supprise, IE9 also allows users to pin web apps to the task bar. Unfortunately, the new beta only works on Windows7 and Windows Vista machines. that's if you're running XP, you are out of luck.

Craigglist has announced it will not be reopening its Adult service section, after shutting it down earlier this month following pressure from lawmakers. William Clinton Power, the company's director of cutstomer service says those who formerly posted adult services, Ads on Craigglist were now just advertised on countless other venues. And he's exactly right.

The open source Facebook competitor, the Diaspora has released the source code to their project. For now, the software is still in heavy development but entrapped geeks can solve the software  themselves on their own servers. For now, the Diaspora can share messages and photos privately with your friends, all in encrypted form. The developers plan to add Facebook integration and data portability in their next release.

Apple has released the developer version of IOS4.2. The new software finally brings the iPad up to par with iPhone and iPad touch. But also packs a few new features. Developers will now be able to test air play which will stream movies, photos and music to any compatible device. And air print, which let you print to any printer share on the Mac or PC or wirelessly to compatible printers. Eager testers will need the latest version of Mac IOS Snow leopard to try it out.

Finally starting on Sept. 21st, a play station three firmware update will bring along 3D blue ray support. And the councilors are already been able to place stereoscopic of 3D games. Thanks to the update back to April. Of course, you are going to need a 3D HD TV to enjoy these features. So, head down over to CNet.com for the latest reviews.
