Let's start up by talking about the dresses. It’s what that's on everybody's mind. What do you think, big and meringue-like, princess-like or kind of slinky and slim?

Well, I think it will be slinky and slim based on her general aesthetic which is quite classic and clean. I think she has a very sort of straight, beautiful, athletic body. I can't see her wearing anything too full, and also I think it's gonna have a massive effect on the bridal industry as a whole, this dress. I mean if you look at the impact of the Oscars and the Oscar dresses on the industry in a knock-on effect of that. You know for the bridal industry, I think it's gonna be phenomenal, and I think most women in the western world, wear a sort of simple, strapless gown with their arm showing a bit of cleavage. And I think this is gonna be much more covered up, much more demure and elegant, and how would that affect women over the next 12 months on their wedding day, it will be really interesting,

Well, a lot of retailers have been clamoring for patronage of Kate Middleton, we saw her sauntering along the King's Road in west London just the other day, buying various high street goods from certain chains. That's gonna be a huge boost to people, isn't it?

Well, again, this wedding is gonna affect two industries… It's gonna affect the bridal industry and high street. I mean, the high street, in terms of what she's wearing every day on her honeymoon if they get to catch her. What she's wearing now will filter right through the industry, you know, in a massive way we can't even comprehend. And also the dress itself will affect the high street, it will be dissected, every detail of it, you know, the details of the arms, the fabric, the color, her tiara, will be sort of ripped off a million times over, and it will be hard to gauge actually the financial impact of that around the world.

Does one do one's wedding rehearsal in jeans?

Well, I think in this day and age, yes, they'll probably do. I mean, it's not so much the behavior of a princess, but you know it's a very different time. I mean, compared to when princess Diana got married, even the way the industry works, and the way that whether somebody can really influence the industry is very different, which is really about celebrity dressing. And also, you know, we all wanna be comfortable. I'm sure she's terribly nervous, and I think everybody wears jeans, and she's young, so why shouldn't she. I think it's totally fine.
