上海钻石联赛：刘翔重夺冠军

At the Shanghai Diamond League over the weekend, Liu was debuting a change to his starting technique, taking one less step before reaching the first hurdle. And as Jonas Gilbart reports from Shanghai, that little change is already paying dividends.
周末的上海钻石联赛，刘翔首次采用上栏新技术，在第一栏之前采用比以前少一步技术。正如Jonas Gilbart从上海发回的报道，这一点小小的变化已经得到回报了。

Liu, using a new start technique, burst out of the blocks in Shanghai, powering his way to the finish line in a time of 13.07 seconds.

Liu Xiang said, "I always felt confident about my chances. After this race I feel even more confident. The thing is no matter how good you are in training you still have to perform in the race to prove yourself. That's how you get more experience and confidence."

The change Liu has made, is to go from 8 steps before reaching the first hurdle to seven, a move designed to lower his starting times.
Liu said, "I felt alright today, this is my first outdoor race since I changed my starting technique. And the result was good, I am quite satisfied."
刘翔此次是将此前在第一个栏之前一直使用的八步上栏改成七步上栏，以提高前半程速度。刘翔说：“今天我感觉很好，这是我首次采用上栏新技术的首次室外比赛。成绩很好，我非常满意。”

Ironically, it was a poor start from American David Oliver that cost him the race. He fell behind early and was unable to recover, coming in second. Oliver, made the same change to his start last year that Liu did this year, and says Liu's success proves it was the right move.
很讽刺，美国大卫-奥列佛的开场表现很差，使他在比赛中失败了。他很早就落在后面并不能赶上，获得第二名。奥利弗去年就做出刘翔今年的这种改变，他说，刘翔的成功证明这一举措是正确的。
