欧洲彩票累计大奖引发购买潮

Lottery fever is gripping Europe. People are lining up to buy tickets in a Euromillions draw with a jackpot worth 126 million euros, or over 176 million US dollars.

The lottery has rolled over ten consecutive times, as no player managed to win the jackpot. The mammoth jackpot is the second-largest in Euromillions' history. Long queues formed at one cafe in Paris selling tickets. Similar scenes were seen in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, where people inundated one lottery shop. Although Portugal is suffering a sovereign debt crisis, the owner of the shop said the turmoil was fueling people's interest in the lottery.
