This is the itinerant science exhibition in Yishui County in the city of Linyi of Shandong Province. The display brings the latest popular science showpieces to the children of the old revolutionary base area and some economically less-developed regions. Like their urbanized peers, these young visitors are experiencing and enjoying interactive displays of science and technology.

In a transparent sphere, tiny bolts of blue lightning flicker before the wide eyes of these young visitors.

In the same exhibition hall, a skinless drum and laser harp also catch the children's attention. They are so curious about how the sounds are produced that they listen attentively to the explanation from the teachers.
