DUBAI, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Traditional Chinese medicine brand Beijing TongRenTang on Tuesday opened a branch in Dubai, the first of its kind in the Middle East region.
新华社迪拜10月18日——周二，中药品牌北京同仁堂在迪拜开了一家分店，这是该类型药店在中东地区的首家。

The new clinic, Beijing TongRenTang Gulf Co. Ltd, is situated in the Dubai Healthcare Center, with an in-house pharmacy and retail outlet offering more than 70 traditional Chinese medicinal products.
这家新的诊所，北京同仁堂海湾有限公司位于迪拜康城中心，配有一家内部药房以及供应70多种中药产品的零售经销店。

All the herbs in the clinic are 100 percent natural and certified by internationally recognized laboratories and approved by World Health Organization standards, said Ding Yongling, vice general manager of the Beijing-based China Beijing TongRenTang Group Co. Ltd.
中国北京总部的北京同仁堂集团副总经理丁永铃表示，诊所里的所有草药是全天然的，经过国际认可的实验室检测，符合世界卫生组织的标准。

The team of doctors, pharmacists and eminent physicians from the TongRenTang hold both Chinese and UAE physician's licenses and are accredited members of traditional Chinese medicine professional bodies such as the World Acupuncture Organization.
同仁堂的医生组、药剂师以及知名内科医生都持有中国和阿拉伯联合酋长国的医生执照，并且都是像世界针灸组织这样的中药专业组织认可的成员。

"Besides the UAE, we hope to expand our business and service to other Middle East countries in the future," Ding said.
丁称：“除了阿拉伯联合酋长国之外，我们希望未来能将生意和服务扩展到中东其它国家。”

The clinic will also join hands with Confucius institutes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to hold forums and lectures to boost the brand awareness and impart the culture of traditional Chinese medicine to people in the UAE and other gulf states, Ding said.
诊所还将携手迪拜和阿布扎比的孔子学院举行论坛和讲座，提升品牌意识，向阿拉伯联合酋长国和其它海湾国家的人民宣传中医药文化，丁如是说。

Established in 1699, Beijing TongRenTang is China's oldest and largest producer of traditional Chinese medicine. The company is engaged in manufacture, retail sales and medical services, operating about 1,500 stores in China and 56 stores overseas.
成立于1699年的北京同仁堂是中国最古老、最大的中药生产商。该公司从事生产、零售和医疗服务，在中国开了约1500家店，在海外设有56家分店。
