中国计划与朝鲜、俄罗斯打造国际旅游区
A tourist attraction developed by three countries? Well, that's what China, Russia and the DPRK are considering. The trio plan to build a scenic zone without borders along the Tumen River, or Duman River.
The planned sight will cover an area of about thirty square kilometers, with each of the three nations providing ten square kilometers. The area encompasses the Jingxin Township of northeast China's Hun-chun City; the Duman River Cave of the DPRK; and Russia's Hasan Township.
The three countries have approved the plan and are now working hard to iron out the finer details. Once completed, tourists would be able to travel the territory with just one valid document. The Tumen River runs a distance of more than 500 kilometres, and flows into the Sea of Japan.
