G7承诺18亿美元援助难民
The Group of Seven major economic powers has boosted its funding to UN humanitarian organizations by 1.8 billion US dollars. The money from the German-led initiative aims to improve assistance to countries directly affected by the refugee crisis.
"We agreed to allocate 1.8 billion US dollars to the international aid organizations of the United Nations, in particular the UNHCR and the World Food Program. Germany alone is going shoulder 100 million euros. With this money we will help the host nations and the receiving nations which have lent support to so many people, including Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, which have been affected by the crisis in Syria," said Frank-Walter Steinmeier, German Foreign Minister.
