俄外长举行年度新闻发布会

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is holding an annual press conference on the national foreign policies in Moscow.

Lavrov is giving a summary of Russia’s foreign policy results of the past year. Topics include the current situation in and around Syria, the crisis in southeastern Ukraine, Russia’s security considering the current international situation, and global security issues.

This briefing comes before Syrian peace talks scheduled in Geneva for Friday, and amid Russia’s counter ISIL operation in the war-torn nation.
