高考英语常考考点归纳：倒装

高考英语对倒装的考查比较有规律，其主要考点为：否定词置于句首时引出的部分倒装，“only+状语”置于句首时引出的部分倒装，类似so do I形式的部分倒装。

1. It was announced that only when the fire was under control ______ to return to their homes.

C. would the residents be permitted             D. the residents had been permitted
