in order 处于良好的状态

【讲解】

此语中order为名词，意为“次序,整齐”。其基本含义为“以一种特殊的方式安排”。引申为“处于良好的状态”，例如:Chairs were arranged and printed material put in order. (椅子排得整整齐齐，印刷材料放得井井有条。）其常用的形式为do sth. in order.其反义词为out of order"次序颠倒,不合规程”。根据箔要也可在order前加上形容词，如:In il order,etc.

B:我们把东西收拾一下吧。

A:OK. Mum will be here soon.
