Professional Terms专业术语category n.种类，范畴divide vt.分成，分配storage n.存储（器）typical a.典型的，标准的Now we'll discuss the basics about the hardware devices that convert data into information in a typical computer based system.现在我们来讨论有关硬件装置的基本知识，正是计算机硬件，把数据转换成了标准计算机系统的信息。Computer harddware refers to the parts of a computer that you can see and touch.计算机硬件，指的是计算机中可以看得见、摸得着的部分。It can be divided into four categories.它可分为四类：1. input hardware（1）输入硬件2.storage hardware（2）存储硬件3.processing hardware ,and finally output hardware（3）处理硬件，输出硬件Input Hardware输入硬件The purpose of input hardware is to collect data and convert it into a form suitable for computer processing.输入硬件的用途是收集数据，并将转换成适合于计算机加工处理的格式。

Notes注意事项The most common imput device is the keyboard.最常用的输入装置就是键盘。It looks very much like a typewriter keyboard with rows of keys arranged in the typical typewriter layout.它看起来非常像一台打字机的键盘，上面配置着一排排典型打字机的按键，as well as a number of additional keys used to enter special computer-related codes.另外一些附加按键是用来输入与计算机有关的特殊代码。
