Hunt down 是一个再常见不过的动词片语了，不单是警察抓小偷时可以用 hunt down，在日常生活中我们也常听到 hunt you down 这样的用法，通常是带有警告意味的。例如：If you dare to touch my girlfriend, I'll hunt you down (如果你敢碰我女朋友的话, 我会把你找出来的). 在电影 Meet the Parents 里，准岳父也是这么警告他未来的女婿，“如果你敢对我女儿不好的话，I'll hunt you down.” http://www.hxen.net
