Environmental groups have called on the United States and China to take immediate, concrete action after they made an ambitious promise to step up the fight against climate change.

In a joint statement, the world's biggest polluters pledged to work together to close the gap between emissions cuts proposed so far and what was needed to keep alive hopes of halting the global temperature rise at 1.5 degrees.

The director of the national security department Stanislaw Zaryn spoke on television late last night and he said that there are signals that today will be a day full of destabilizing acts, and that more migrants will be coming from Minsk to the Polish border.
