Ron: Yes. But you know him. He's just worried that you're not Italian...
Nicole: He's prejudiced, isn't he?
Ron: No. He's afraid that no one will cook as good as his mother did.
Nicole: Ah! I know a way to convince him that Americans can make good Italian food!
Ron: How's that?
Nicole: You'll see next week. I'll come by one day at lunchtime.

prejudiced (a.)   有偏见的
convince (v.)   说服

A: Judd doesn't want to go swimming with us. 贾德不想跟我们去游泳。 B: I'll try to convince him. 我来试着说服他。
朗恩:他知道。不过你也知道他。他只是担心你不是意大利人……
妮可∶他有偏见,对不对?
朗恩∶不对。他只是怕没有人像他妈妈一样会做菜。
妮可∶啊!我有个方法可以说服他,美国人也能做一手意大利好菜!
朗恩∶怎么说服?
