电影基金点亮年轻导演的梦想

Shanghai, once the cradle of China's movie industry, has launched a program providing special funding for new movie makers. Every year, a fund of nearly 4 million US dollars is offered to encourage their movie dreams.
上海，曾经是中国电影产业的摇篮，发起了一个为新电影制作人提供专项资金的计划。每年，上海将提供一笔近400万美元的资金来支持他们的电影梦想。

Recently, a list of movies chosen to receive the funds has been announced. And at the top is Yan Lei's "Love Is Nothing."
最近，入选获得资金的电影名单已经发布了。排在第一名的是颜雷的《上海1999》。

"Love is Nothing" depicts Shanghai in the eyes of Yan Lei's generation. Last year, he took his first draft, which was finished in 2006, to Beijing in attempt to get financing. But times were tough and his attempts proved fruitless. At the beginning of this year, he returned to Shanghai and saw the silver lining. To his surprise, he got the No.1 filming permission certificate for Shanghai 2011 and won the fund. A five-year dream has been realized at last.
《上海1999》描述的是颜雷这一代人眼中的上海。去年，他拿着他的第一个剧本到北京筹集资金，该剧本是2006年完成的。但是时局困难，他的努力没有成果。今年年初，他回到上海，看到了一丝希望。令他惊讶的是，他获得2011上海摄制电影许可证的第一名，赢得了资金。五年的梦想最终实现。

Yan Lei said, "I am new director, with no connections and no track record. I appreciate the opportunity very much."
颜雷表示：“我是新导演，没有熟人没有成就记录。我非常感激能有这个机会。”

Fortune also falls on another young director, Fu Dongyu, for his story "Tibetan Sky." Apart from 5 movies by new directors, another four produced by Shanghai Film Group and SMG Pictures are listed as key projects.
幸运也降临到另一位年轻的导演傅东育身上，他的故事是《西藏天空》。除了新导演的5部电影之外，上海电影集团和SMG尚世影业公司的其它四部电影也被列入到主要项目中。

Ren Zhonglun said, "A good team needs a good project. And now the government offers funds for them. It will help young directors grow."
任仲伦指出：“一个好的团队需要一个好的项目。现在政府为他们提供了资金。这将有助于年轻导演的成长。”

China's first cinema, first movie studio, and first film generation all started in Shanghai. And today, the metropolis moves on to light up young movie dreams.
中国第一个电影院、第一个电影制片厂、第一代电影人都是在上海开始的。今天，这个大都市采取行动，点燃了年轻的电影梦想。
