As the end of another year approaches, theatre fans in China will have plenty to enjoy, including Broadway-style musicals from home and abroad.
年末将至，中国的剧迷们将能享受到很多的戏剧，包括国内外百老汇风格的音乐剧。

Since the Chinese version of the popular stage musical "Mama Mia" met audiences in July, a whole market for musicals has sprouted around the country. Now, let's find out what other musicals audiences will enjoy this month.
自从七月份受欢迎的舞台音乐剧《妈妈咪呀》的中国版与观众见面以来，整个音乐剧市场在中国迅速发展。现在，让我们去了解这个月观众能欣赏到的音乐剧还有哪些。

Musical "Notre Dame de Paris" will grace the Beijing stage at the end of the year. The production based on Victor Hugo's novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" premiered in 1998 in Paris and went on to become a great success in Europe. In 2002, the French version of the musical landed on the Beijing stage to become the first imported foreign musical. Nine years later, the play revisits the Chinese capital with an English version, allowing audiences here to immerse themselves in the story once again.
音乐剧《巴黎圣母院》将在今年年底登上北京的舞台。这部作品是根据维克多．雨果的小说《钟楼怪人》改编的，1988年首次公演之后在欧洲取得巨大成功。2002年，这部法语版的音乐剧登陆北京的舞台，成为第一部进口的外国音乐剧。九年之后，这部戏剧以英文版的形式再次来到中国首都，让这里的观众再次沉浸在故事情节中。

Also a homegrown musical "Love U, Teresa" has returned to Beijing's Poly Theater. The show premiered to rave reviews in Hong Kong last year, and was well received during its last round in Beijing. The Broadway-style production commemorates late Taiwan singer Teresa Teng, with more than 30 of Teng's greatest hits being sung. The plot follows Teng in heaven helping a young musician pursue her own dreams.
本土音乐剧《爱上邓丽君》也回到北京的保利剧院。去年在香港的首映好评如潮，在北京的最后一轮演出也受到好评。这部百老汇风格的作品是纪念已故台湾歌手邓丽君的，演唱了邓丽君的30多首精选作品。情节讲述的是在天堂的邓丽君帮助一位年轻的音乐家追寻她的梦想。

The play enrolled Broadway director Joey Mckneely into the production team to guarantee world class quality, but charted a typical Chinese story to localize.
百老汇导演卓依．马可尼里加入到这部剧的制作团队当中，确保了将一个世界级质量的经典的中国故事地方化。

Zeng Qingrong, producer of "Love U, Teresa", said, "I think a good art work goes beyond boundaries. We should make use of our resources, either from home or abroad to make a wonderful show."
《爱上邓丽君》的制片人曾庆荣表示：“我觉得一部好的艺术作品是无国界的。我们应该利用国内外资源来制作一台精彩的演出。”

"Love U, Teresa" was staged in Poly Theater on Wednesday and Thursday, while "Notre Dame de Paris" will be shown in Beijing Exhibition Center Theater from December the 27th to 30th.
