CCTV体坛风云人物提名揭晓

The 2011 CCTV Sports Personality of the Year nominations were announced in Beijing on Thursday. Fifty individuals and teams are in competition for the awards that will be handed out January 15, 2012.
2011CCTV体坛风云人物提名周四在北京揭晓。50个个人和团队竞争将于2012年1月15日颁发的的奖项。

The categories include a who’s who of Chinese sport, featuring the top achievers for 2011, covering male, female and team sport standouts. The male athlete of the year contenders include athletics world championship silver medalist Liu Xiang, Sun Yang, the 1500m freestyle champion and new world record holder, and Badminton world championship winner Lin Dan, who took home the top award last year.
类别包括2011年中国体育最有成就的人，有男性、女性和杰出的运动队。今年参与竞争的男运动员包括田径世锦赛银牌得主刘翔，1500米自由泳冠军、新世界记录保持者孙杨，以及去年带回最高奖项的羽毛球世锦赛冠军林丹。

The best female athlete list includes table tennis women’s singles world champion Ding Ning, women’s 200m butterfly world champion Jiao Liuyang, history-making Grand Slam tennis star Li Na, women’s discus world champion Li Yanfeng, and diver Wu Minxia, a double gold medalist at the world aquatics championships. Football, basketball and volleyball teams were also nominated.
最佳女运动员名单包括乒乓球女子单打世界冠军丁宁，女子200米蝶泳世界冠军焦刘洋，历史创造者、网球大满贯明星李娜，女子铁饼世界冠军李艳凤以及在世界游泳锦标赛上取得两枚金牌的跳水运动员吴敏霞。

Jiang Heping, CCTV Sports Channel Director, said, "Though the Chinese Women’s Volleyball team didn’t win the championship of the World Cup, they did a good job. Their bronze medal is much more important than the other golds. The basketball nominations include Yi Li and Yi Jianlian. And for football, even though our National team didn’t play well, the football activities on the local level were very good.
央视体育频道主任江和平表示：“虽然中国女子排球队没有获得世界杯冠军，但是她们表现得很好。她们的铜牌比其它金牌要重要得多。篮球的提名者包括易立和易建联。至于足球，虽然我们的国家队踢得不好，但是地方的足球活动进行得很好。”
