比利时今晨火车追尾 致3死40伤

The Belga news agency reported that at least three people were killed and 40 injured Sunday night in a collision between a freight and a passenger train in Belgium.

The accident occurred around midnight on the line linking Namur and Liege in the east of the country, close to the municipality of Saint-Georges-sur-Meuse.

The passenger train slammed into the back of the freight train on the same track at high speed, destroying its first two carriages.

Emergency services rushed to the scene. The circumstances behind the accident were not immediately clear.
