far from it 远非如此

【讲解】

该习语的意思是“远非如此' 例如：I am not tired far from it.(我不累，一点儿也不累。）问时要注意它与习语far from的区别，far from表示“远离”，也可用来表示“远远不，完全不”。

【对话】

A:Your classmates dislike Bill, because he always makes mistakes, He is really a stupid boy.

A:你的同学都不喜欢比尔，因为他老犯错误。他真是个大笨蛋。

B:Bill is not stupid, far from it, he is pretty smart.

B:出尔不笨，并且远非如此，他相当聪明。
