名人教英文：他过去多个月对太太不忠

背夫或背妻偷情，英文叫做to deceive或to be unfaithful to one's husband/wife。随便一点的说法，则是to cheat on或to step out on one's husband/wife，例如：

（1）she confessed to her husband on her deathbed that she had for a time been unfaithful to him
（她临死时向丈夫承认，曾经有一段时间对他不忠）。

（2）he is said to have stepped out on/deceived his wife
（据说他曾经背妻偷情）。

to throw somebody out是“把某人逐出家门”，也可解作“开除某人”，或作to kick somebody out，例如：（1）he did not pay his rent, and was thrown out/kicked out by the landlord（他不交租，就被房东撵走）。（2）if he makes any more trouble, he will be thrown out/kicked out of the club（他再生事，俱乐部就会把他开除）。留意to throw out、to cheat on等动词词组（phrasal verb），多用于口头，语气都比较随便。to throw out的较正式说法是to expel。
