barbara: why are you looking so pleased with yourself?

joe: am i? well i just bought a case of my favourite wine.

barbara: that's twelve bottles. you don't normally buy so many at once.

joe: ah but you don't often get the chance to buy barolo at the price i paid. it was much cheaper than normal.

barbara: how much cheaper?

joe: well i got 40% off the normal price.
乔：比平常价格减了四成。

barbara: that's certainly a big saving. why was it so cheap?
