Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is criticizing Donald Trump for making what he calls a racist comment. Trump recently alleged that a judge could not fairly preside over a case involving him because of the judge's Mexican heritage. The presumptive Republican nominee says his words were misconstrued.

Turkey's president visited victims of those wounded in a car bomb attack in Istanbul. 11 people were killed, and 36 others wounded.
The installation artist Christo says people can finally feel what it's like to walk on water. He unveiled a temporary installation on a lake in northern Italy. The newly two-mile floating bridge called the "Floating Piers" will be open to the public later this month.
