President Erdogan of Turkey says more than 80,000 people have fled Syrian government attacks on rebel-held territory in Idlib province. Mr.Erdogan said his country couldn't cope with new wave of refugees who might attempt to cross the border.

Sudan's state prosecutor has launced an investigation into crimes committed in the Darfur region when the deposed president Omar al-Bashir was in power. Ten years ago, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Mr.Bashir on charges of genocide and war crimes.

The Demoncratic leader in the US senate Chuck Schumer says unless President Trump allows witnesses to testify at his impeachment trial, it would look like a cover-up. Police in wastern Brazil have found a 16-meter-long tunnel dug by gang that was planing to rob a nearby bank. Two people were killed in the police operation, seven others were arrested. 

The French fashion designer Emanuel Ungaro, known for his use of bold colors and vibrant prints has died in Paris at the age of 86. He made close for celebrities and actresses, including Jacqueline Kennedy and Catherine Deneuve.
