Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has met with foreign delegates at the 10th China Development Forum, calling for international efforts to combat the financial crisis.

He said only when each nation makes effective stimulus measures together can the world economy step out of difficulty and realize resuscitation.

More than fifty foreign delegates attended the three-day China Development Forum which concluded in Beijing on Monday.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei says China is expecting positive results from the first meeting between President Hu Jintao and his US counterpart Barack Obama on the sideline of the upcoming G20 summit in London.

He Yafei said during the meeting, the two leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of topics including bilateral ties, joint actions to fight against the global financial crisis and other issues of common concern.
