油价似乎还会继续上升

Worth of the average price of gasoline is about to go on a rocket ride that could last through summer. So which cities are in for a directed hit?Is it yours? Here is ABC's Cecelia Vega.

With record pain at the pump, 2011 felt bad enough, and today drivers are already shelling out almost 30 cent more a gallon.

It's sort of like I am throwing money away, you know, each time.

But junurary's prices could soon seem like a bargain. One study says come Memorial day drivers maybe pay more per gallon than they have ever paid,460 in Atlanta, 485 in San Francisco, and in chicago a few penny shy of 5 dollars.

And suv drivers will be among the hardest hit. This Chevy Suburban now costs about 1010 dollars to fill up, analyst said that could be going up in a matter of months, and drivers might want to consider driving somthing smaller.

Of course frustrated, I can not  do anything about it.

So what is behind the great gas spike of 2012, repeated Iranian threats to block a main oil shiping route.increased demand from china and our own unquenchable thirst for gas.

Gasoline demand rises when the economy improves, so we are going to be faced with an increased demand come the summer time.
