Video of a Chinese man drinking 50 raw eggs within minutes on a 2,000 yuan ($250) bet went viral on Thursday.

周四，一名中国男子为打赌赢2000元（合250美元），在短短几分钟内喝下50个生鸡蛋，这一视频迅速在网络上走红。

The middle-aged man guzzled down the eggs cracked into a metal basin in front of a group egging him on at what appears to be a grocery store.

One of the men holds up a wad of cash in front of him and yells "finish 50 eggs you got 2,000 yuan," the 60-second clip uploaded Wednesday showed.

Besides a high dose of protein, it was not reported if the man actually received the cash.
