It’s a big week on the hit list, as we crown a new number one single - from a first-time artist at that. Let’s open in fifth place, where Florida Georgia Line and Nelly continue to enjoy themselves with “Cruise.” They have plenty of company - this song has sold three million downloads in the United States.

Group member Brian Kelley says they share a record label with Nelly, who was a fan of theirs and quickly agreed to put in a guest appearance. In April, “Cruise” became the best-selling digital single by a country duo.

Justin Timberlake sinks two slots to fourth place with “Mirrors,” but he has no reason to mope - Justin has a big-screen movie in the works.

Timberlake retreats two slots to fourth place with “Mirrors,” which has gone to number one in the United Kingdom. In late September we’ll see Justin on the big screen in the drama “Runner Runner,” co-starring Ben Affleck.

It’s a wait-and-see week for Daft Punk - the French duo holds at number three with its global hit “Get Lucky” featuring Pharrell Williams. If it stalls, it would be a surprise; after all, “Get Lucky” has rung the bell in more than 20 countries, including Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Lebanon, Poland, Spain, and the U.K.

Here’s where the big change happens: Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Ray Dalton are unseated after five weeks at the top, as “Can’t Hold Us” falls to number two.

New to the top slot is Robin Thicke. The blue-eyed soul singer jumps from sixth to first place with “Blurred Lines,” featuring T.I. and Pharrell. Robin has been recording for 10 years, but his previous Hot 100 highlight came in 2007, when “Lost Without U” peaked in 14th place.
