美国第一位征服世界第二高峰的女性

It’s hard to believe it’s actually happens.Sometimes I have to pinch myself because, you know, we went through some really really tough conditions, you know, with the huge winds, the deep snow and the precipitation that was building.

It’s still hard to believe that someday it happened and we’re really able to persevere. So sitting in front you, be interviewed, you know, it feels like a life time ago but it was less than a week.

So I’m, in a way, very gracious that the mountain allowed us to submit the sheer.Of course it took us three days and there was no guarantee of submit K2 but I’m deeply honoured that we were able to do submit the sheer.

You know, over 3 three years, there’re signs of climate change overall.I remember last year, thinking: Wow, I’ve never seen glaciers like this and how high I was,and how magnificently tall they were and this year, I thought like I was walking and something so much more deflated.

Although there were all the snow and ice and everything here on the mountain but somehow yes, they were these river, they were running quite strong and they were melting. They could refreeze of course but they won’t become the biggest glaciated built they were before.

You know, I have no sponsors so sponsor are difficult because no matter how accomplished you are,as a climber sponsor, looked high out to climbing as, you know, something that carries a lot of risks so many of them are risk averse because you know, “ what if she dies”.

Thank you, Pakistan, for just completely supporting me through my years here, I have loved traveling here.I’m so proud of our team of 12 that mated but I have to commend the individuals and the larger expeditions for choosing next summer because there’s nothing wrong with August 31st.
