These young elephants may be orphans but they are getting some first lady attention. Melania Trump is in Nairobi, Kenya, where she fed and played with baby tembo, as they called in Swahili. These gentle giants are in the care of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Melania Trump then brought her ‘be best’ message to children at the local orphanage.

The orphanage takes care of 130 children including this little boy. Earlier this year Kenyan First Lady Margaret Kenyatta launched ‘beyond zero’, an initiative to eliminate maternal deaths. Nairobi residents see Melania Trump visit as a sign of support for the campaign.

Much of that funding goes to women and youth programs, including the schools of children participating in the first lady’s visit here at the Kenyan National Theater.
