Rachel: I don't know, you thought 'See you Saturday? was funny. Look honey, Mark is in fashion okay, I like having a friend that I can share this stuff with. You guys would never want to go to a lecture with me.

Ross: Pa-haa!! I would love to go with you.

Rachel: Really!?

Ross: Yeah, hey I-I have clothes, I even pick them out. I mean for, for all you know I could be a fashion..... monger.

本来Ross可以在剧中说a fashion businessman、a fashion trader或a fashion salesman,但这些他都没

用,他说的是a fashion monger(时尚贩子)。 比方说,fishmonger(鱼贩子、鱼商)、ironmonger(五金商)。 比方说,scandalmonger(散布丑闻的人),warmonger(战争贩子)。

I would love to go with you.
在这里,他没说 I would like...,说的是 I would love...,你是否可以感觉到Ross在强调他特别想去。这就是would like...与would love...
What would you like? I would like some coffee.
Tomorrow is my birthday.Would you join the party? Oh,I would love to. But I am on the way to Beijing.
